We tested the 12-round magazine extensively and reliability was impeccable. We trust it as much as the OEM. The most obvious difference between the two is that the Magpul magazine is slightly longer and offers two extra rounds. This perfectly grips the Glock 26, which is usually pinky-dangling for most shooters who use the standard 10-round magazine. This is basically a feature that is either good or useless, depending on your concealment needs. The Magpul magazine adds relatively little length for two more rounds, but the extra length actually makes the gun a little harder to conceal. We found the size of the Glock 26 to be right between the standard Glock 26 magazine and Glock 19. More concealable than the Glock 19, but less concealable than the flash magazine. So I really like the Magpul Glock 26 magazine and I use it when I'm wearing clothes so I can hide it without issue. The 12 round magazine gives you 2 extra rounds if you can handle that and buy more guns to improve control, so all is well. However, during the hot summer months when I only wear light t-shirts, I think sticking with the Flash Fit Magazine will provide amazing concealment with only a slight reduction in height. In short, if you carry a Glock 26, the Magpul 12-round magazine is great, but it adds size to the small but powerful G26, so use it when appropriate.
